Crescent Institute has kicked off its In Conversation series with a successful event in Sydney recently featuring Yellow Brick Road and Wizard Home loans founder, Mark Bouris AM in conversation with journalist and author Catherine Fox AM.
Mark shared some wonderful insights and stories into his early days, growing up in Punchbowl, how his passion for rugby league resulted in a chance meeting with Kerry Packer and his luck in sitting next to Richard Branson on an airplane to his predictions on interest rates and inflation.

The In Conversation series also headed to Melbourne recently where investor and philanthropist Daniel Besen shared his insights into creating purpose driven organisations with Farah Farouque, a community sector leader who was a senior journalist at The Age.
The discussion was extremely well received by those in attendance with Daniel passionately sharing the story of how Collingwood Yards, a public contemporary arts incubator and adaptive reuse project in Melbourne, was born and realised.
The final event of the year will be held in Perth and feature the Federal Minister for Youth and Early Childhood the Hon. Anne Aly, with journalist Rachel Pupazzoni. In breaking news Senator Fatima Payman, who this year became the first Afghan-Australia and first hijab-wearing Muslim woman in the Australian Parliament will also join the event
